Rafaela Garreta Prats Serrano hails from Rio de Janeiro, where her deep-rooted passion for law blossomed from an early age. Raised in a Christian family instilled with values of justice and equity, she received a well-rounded education, attending prestigious institutions such as the Military School Vocational Course in Accounting and Administration. With unwavering support from her family, Rafaela embarked on her journey towards legal excellence.
Driven by her determination to make a difference through law, Rafaela commenced her academic pursuits in 2001 at Estácio de Sá Law School in Rio de Janeiro. In 2007, she earned approval from the Brazilian Lawyers Association (OAB), marking the beginning of her illustrious career as a lawyer. Shortly thereafter, Rafaela established her first law office in Rio de Janeiro, where she solidified her reputation as a respected legal practitioner.
Rafaela’s quest for knowledge led her to the United States, where she pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in American and International Law at Northeastern University School of Law. Amidst her academic endeavors, Rafaela’s commitment to philanthropy and humanitarian causes
